Thing is, that "horrible" voice you're hearing is what everybody else always hears coming from you! This can be done well if your presentation skills are good, but it can also lead to rambling, poor pacing, and unconscious verbal bad habits. Scripting and recording separately makes it easier to stay on target and be more professional. Also the sound editing quality will he higher.
