    That’s what I did in a first place when I’ve been building my twitter base. Then, after giving the best I could on twitter and over 20,000+ followers, I took more of an early  scobleizer  approach and started following everyone who followed me.

    Now, with 60,000+ following it’s just too much of a noise and I’m thinking of resetting my account – unfollowing everybody and gather around only the best of who I admire for content they share on twitter.

      @Ludwik C Siadlak  It’s good to check and purge those whom you’re following from time to time for many reasons: people abandon accounts, people change direction, people’s accounts get hacked, etc. It’s a good practice.

    Mike, first of all Best Wishes and a happy New Year ! Is it me (@JCDichant]  or the video does not appear on the page ?

    • Ludwik C Siadlak

      @jdichant Me neither.

      @jdichant Me neither

      @jdichant It seems that scheduled publishing doesn’t like iframes… since that is twice this has happened, now. And of course this had to be the day I was offline for a few hours this morning! But it’s fixed now, thanks so much for bringing this to my attention. You can always see just the videos any time you like at my YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/remarkablogger

        @remarkablogger don’t worry, I have multiple blogs and know that sometimes technology is the limit ;) About Twitter, I use ManageFlitter to take care of my accounts, it works really fine http://www.manageflitter.com/

          @jdichant Cool, thanks for the suggestion. ManageFlitter looks promising. I’ll set aside some time to take it for a test drive and maybe even post about it. :)

    As always, your tips are clear and useful. Thanks!

    Michael, would you consider adding a Facebook “share” button to your menu of share icons. The “like” button only shows up to my personal FB friends…would like it to be easier to share some of your content on my business page.

    • http://remarkablogger.com/ remarkablogger

      @RiverwoodWriter Done! Thanks for the suggestion. :)

      @RiverwoodWriter So glad you asked that – it surprises me how many bloggers only have FB ‘Like’ buttons, which is very frustrating, as you say, when you want to share on your business page. Thanks for sorting it on here, Michael.

        @SusanNeal  @RiverwoodWriter Having multiple elements on the page which utilize the Facebook API can have problems, sometimes, which I have experienced when setting up blogs for my clients. But also, Facebook shifted its focus to being about “Likes” instead of sharing.

          @remarkablogger  @SusanNeal  @RiverwoodWriter Thanks for the explanation, Michael – appreciated.

    Yeah,t I read a couple of days ago. Now twitter is suggesting people in my niche to follow, which is pretty cool

    • http://remarkablogger.com/ remarkablogger

      @Jade34 And their suggestions are usually pretty good, too. :)

    • http://remarkablogger.com/ remarkablogger

      @Jade34 Yes, and their suggestions are spookily good!

    Twitter got good potential and become very popular. Originally used by techies, mainstream users are now gravitating to this “micro-blogging” site.

    • http://remarkablogger.com/ remarkablogger

      @Neil Patt Oh, Twitter is HUGE. If I want breaking news, following CNN on Twitter is redundant. And for me, personally, it’s become my biggest network, although I’m going to give Google+ some real effort this year. :)
