Link Journey for March 27, 2011 – The Better Late than Never Edition

Yeah so this was supposed to go out yesterday. Hence the “better late than never” headline concept.

For your listening/watching pleasure, I present Beck’s E-Pro, my favorite Beck song, ever.

On with the linkage. This is all the cool stuff caught in my nets as I surfed the web last week. Well… not all the cool stuff. Nor even the coolest stuff. Oh, no. The coolest links only go out to people on my email list. So if you ain’t on it you’re missing them.

  • How to Write an Ebook that Doesn’t Suck now has its own domain and sales page. Those of you who already own it may recall the discussion on whether or not you should have a separate domain for selling an ebook. Now you can see how I do ‘em.
  • Ignore SEO, just produce good content beats that particular dead horse again. I’ll just keep saying it’s not an either/or situation and those that have ears to hear, let them hear.
  • 17 Ways to Grow Your Blog From Top Bloggers is a 3-meat pizza of an article with all kinds of goodness in it. Notice how I’m not even bitter I’m not on the list. See? See how not bitter I am?
  • On Twitter, Conservative (or Liberal) by Association is a terrible headline. It should read: We Can Tell What Your Politics are on Twitter Even if You Don’t Tweet about Them. Because that’s what they’re really saying. If you think you know what my politics are after watching my tweet stream for a while, do please let me know.
  • How to Master the Art of Negotiating Price is a well-written educational piece that will be especially useful to you when charging your clients for the coaching, consulting or freelance work you do.
  • Sarah Palin’s Lessons Of Personal Branding can give you insights into your own personal branding strategy by examining Palin’s. Love her or hate her, there’s a lesson there for everyone.
  • Search and Social Pack Powerful Consumer Punch highlights how the social media space is getting all intertwingled with search to affect consumer purchase behavior. Notice that I use the word affect, not impact. Why? Because that would just be wrong. Teeth and anuses get impacted. Everything else gets affected. Remember that. :)
  • 7 Blogging Mistakes That Small Businesses Make is a must-read. My friend Liz Strauss is quoted in it (don’t know her? you gotta check out her blog). This article is not some shallow “number list” brain sugar. There is gold in it.

Did you enjoy this article?

Don't miss the next one! Get on the list. You'll also get my free report on the 10 Tragic Blogging Mistakes you may be making.

You can take away from something simply because of how visually beautiful it is. Youve put together a great blog space —great graphics, videos, layout. This is definitely a must-see blog
