Along the lines of psychology is the law of attraction, if you're intention is to help people, make them happy by sharing what you know or what you're learning, then the natural feedback loop would be happiness for the blogger as well as other gains; financial, emotional, friends, life experience. When one sets out with an intention to make the most money the fastest way, they will inevitably fail, it's the law. #1 rule still stands - Write what you're passionate about! I like David's theory.
