If you can’t see the blog consulting video below, check it out on Remarkablogger.com.
The reason why I provide helpful and free content here is so that you have a chance to see I know my stuff and hire me as a blog consultant or purchase one of my blog training programs. That’s the main reason why just about anyone running a business would have a blog. In addition to the normal free content here on Remarkablogger, I like to provide glimpses into what it’s like to work with me as client. When I attended BlogWorld Expo 2009, I had the chance to work with Warren Whitlock, Allen Miller, and Todd Creager for a bit on on-the-spot blog consulting. The results were captured on video (next time, somebody please remind me not to stand totally sideways to the camera–hello, gut! Sheesh…).
This is what I do for people in my one-on-one blog consulting. If Todd implements my suggestions, he could easily double conversions from his blog, at the very least. By asking questions, I established where he was at with his blog marketing, and then discovered areas that could improve dramatically. If I had seen his blog prior to our chat, the first thing I would’ve told him would be to get a design for the blog!
Imagine the takeaways Todd could’ve walked away with if we had an hour instead of a few minutes.
What Todd experienced here could be your experience, too.
There is a bit of urgency attached to this suggestion, though. My friends have been telling me for months, now, that I should charge more for what I do (which is funny, because I often advise my own clients to increase their rates). My consulting rates are below the norm, and I’m going to correct that starting at the beginning of the new year.
Starting in January 2010, an hour of consulting will go up from $187 to $249. A three-hour package will increase from $397 to $497 (making it still the best value). The 30-minute and 90-minute consulting time blocks will be eliminated.
Now is the time to secure a spot in my 2010 consulting schedule at 2009’s rates. We can schedule our calls any time you like, but you’ve got to purchase your time now, before the rate increase, to get my 2009 rates.
Think of it as a holiday gift for your business. One that gives back in more traffic and sales from your blog.
