WordCamp NYC is the Place to be this Weekend

WordCampNYC – Nov 14-15Have you heard of WordCamp? Not word as in writing, but word as in WordPress. They happen all over the world, and they’re a great place to learn all things WordPress. The ones in the bigger cities are, well… bigger. WordCamp NYC looks like it’s gonna be a good one.

I’m going to be there, so if you’re around, be sure to say hello! You can still get registered to join and it’s NOT expensive.

There are educational tracks for beginning, intermediate, and advanced WordPress users, so there’s something for everyone.

This will be my first time in Manhattan, so I can’t wait to take tons of pictures and walk around like a touristy dork.

See you there!

Oh *phew*, now I won’t look out of place when *I* walk around, all touristy and gaping.

Is it worse if we travel in a group? :D

Andrea, I don’t think they can take us all at once. :) See ya soon.

Should be great, and really wish I could make it. Looking forward to seeing your take on it, and I believe a certain Mr. Griffiths is on the panel discussing GPL? That should be interesting… ;-)

Indeed. I’ve even seen a couple heated discussions about it online, recently.

Michael – You know what would be really fun? Dress up as a redneck from Georgia. Don’t shave for 3 days and wear overalls and a worn-down UGA baseball cap. Then, walk down 5th avenue holding a bunch of shopping bags from Neiman Marcus, Banana Republic and Ralph Lauren. That will really confuse them.

    Have fun, dude!

Ha ha, that’s a little too “Sarah Palin” for me!

Well, I guess I won’t be able to go to Word Camp this time around. NYC is a bit far from where I live in Bisbee, AZ. Seriously though, I feel like I just tripped over the Holy Grail. I’ve been desperately wanting to add a blog directly to my website. Your ebook will be invaluable. I’m going to be immediately subscribing to this site. It’s great! Also, I have a photography blog site whose readers would benefit from exposure to this site. I’ll link to you and recommend that readers subscribe. Larry Elkins – elkinsphotos.com

Larry, I’m glad you’re finding the ebook and the blog content valuable. Thanks for letting me know, I really appreciate that. I would be humbled and honored if you recommended this site to others. Thanks so much!
