A fantastic outline to email marketing. I've just got started on building my list a few months ago. I'm doing fairly well. It hasn't netted a bunch of sales, but I don't have any products yet either, just services. I'm ok with where I'm at right now. But it's time to step up the conversion rates.

I paid extra attention to "how to present an offer." I feel that I can do a better job of converting people to buyers. I'll work on explaining the benefits of each feature. Not my strength because I don't want to be too pushy. I need to realize that people need my help and I should be confident in my services.

Thank you. As always great material.

Thanks, Dave. Being your highest compliment, that means a lot to me. :) Write your own article, anyway. Your audience will appreciate because it will be from you.

Thanks, Benipayo, I'm glad you found it helpful. All email list services cost money. By marketing to your list and gaining sales, the investment in the service pays for itself many, many times over.

Michael,

I'm glad I came back to read about this part of your blog. I did read your response to my other comment too. You're right! I did not know exactly what you meant when you wrote your response to my other comment (10 things... ) but in the middle of reading your blog, I think I know how to do it.

I actually tried it in the past but failed to do it right. I was trying to sell them my services instead of sending them helpful information. It makes sense now.

However, I not familiar with feedburner or aweber or what the other guy is pimping here. I know that feedburner is free plugin but the last two have monthly $$. I'll have to check on that and put a bookmark on this blog for future reference.

Thanks again.

I will now admit to being totally overwhelmed in the web department. I have a website, I have a blog (http://real-lifestyles.blogspot.com) and I have great material, but I feel totally lost on how to contribute past that, or if I'm even contributing correctly.

Now that I'm obsessed with this blog and organizing my business, it should help.

The first three steps are always the toughest.
