Can’t see the video in your reader or email? Watch it on the blog.
This video walks you through how to install a plugin for WordPress 2.7 (self-hosted) that displays your Twitter posts (called “tweets”) in your blog’s sidebar. I’m not doing this at the moment on Remarkablogger, as you can see, but I will when the new design comes out.
PS – WordPress SEO Secrets will no longer be available after tomorrow. Last chance.

Hi Michael – This is GREAT! Dashboard upgrade/access succinctly demonstrated and terrific summary of plug-in capabilities! Awesome, thank you so much. I’m motivated to play this weekend.
Great tutorial – followed your steps to the T and am now a proud micro-updating fiend!
OMG! I had this on my to-do list for today… I’m so glad I found this post! After once dealing with the installation of one particularly difficult plugin that made my site not work, I kind of have a phobia about adding new plugins.
I also need to upgrade to 2.7 as you suggest in your book… but I’m even more terrified to do that! Are there any problems that you know of with upgrading?
@Christine – If you’re going to do it yourself, here’s what you need to know: back up files and database. Upgrade your plugins BEFORE you upgrade WordPress. I used the WordPress automatic upgrade plugin to do the upgrade to 2.7 and it went without a hitch. Some people can’t log in after doing an upgrade. If that happens, clear your browser cookies from your blog and try it again, should be fine.
Good luck! If you just want someone to do it for you, let me know.
Thanks for this plugin, my blog is now wordpress so i can install this plugin right away!
thank you
