    I was just browsing the referral keywords of my blog last night, picking out the ones that highly amused me… yet it didn’t occur to me (embarrassingly!) to use these as material for new posts.

    Hey Michael,

    Great video. I would also add another obvious way to get ideas for articles is what do people search when they are on your blog.

    Also I try to improve articles that are getting me traffic because they are founded on Google from certain keywords but they have a big bounce rate.

    There’s an odd inversion of the “search terms” idea source, too, and one that I’m experiencing – the overwhelming majority of searches that I’m getting are for a blog post that I didn’t intend to be particularly popular. So I know it’s time to beef up the content I actually do want to focus on, so people aren’t just getting that one offhand post.

    some good ideas. my site was growing steadily since sept, but now (dec) traffic has flat linned a bit and im concerned. ill try to use some of the tips you suggested
