The Revolution will be Twitterized – Twitter Revolution Book

Can’t see the video? Watch on the blog

Twitter Revolution is THE guide to Twitter marketing. Deb Micek and Warren Whitlock have got you covered. Deb, Warren, and many twitterers have contributed to this whirlwind tour of Twitter. If you’re into Twitter, you will get so much value out of this book. It’s all in here, from how to get started (and why you should) to over a hundred tips and tricks that accelerate your success with Twitter as a marketing effort. This is the essential twitter book.

And… I’m in it.

I’m thrilled to say that my post Twitter is Like Sex is reprinted in its entirety on page 241. A great many others contributed to this book, too, and you see their tweets, quotes, and advice all throughout it. Robert Scoble wrote the foreword. Twitter Revolution was really a massive group effort spearheaded by Deb and Warren. It’s collective wisdom from many who have succeeded on Twitter. It’s good stuff, basically. I daresay this twitter book would make a great (inexpensive) holiday gift.

PS – See what Deb, Warren, and me do on Twitter.

PPS – The price of Online Business School doubles today. You may not be too late, yet. Go see.

It definitely looks awesome Michael. I think I’ll have to check it out. It would be nice if it was at Barnes & Noble’s so I could just read it in the store.

    Michael,

First, I am going to get in touch with you. My partner and I have a couple businesses and we are focusing on one right now. So we may wait on the site I talked to you about. But, I we have another site that may need your help. So I will be in contact.

Second, what is that CD-Key for on your whiteboard. Your office looks like mine, except I have a great view of the mountains in Costa Rica!

    Hi Michael,

I couldn’t miss this video post. I’m really happy for you because it means a lot to be in a book. I think when you’re in a book about something it’s like a part of your legacy. Years will pass and maybe someday in a museum will see this book and a list with some people that are in it. So I think it’s like a way to remain in history and that means something.

I also use Twitter (I’m WebOptimization for those that don’t know me) and I think that if you are doing the right things you can get benefits from using Twitter. For example I started to receive traffic from Twitter whenever I post a link to my blog. If I interact with my followers they’ll RT my link and if they’re like someone with influence I’ll get more traffic. I didn’t got any client yet but I’ve managed to help few users, one gave me a testimonial and another one said he will write one. So yes, I recommend Twitter as a great social tool that gives you the ability to interact in such a great way. It practically gives you the possibility to be human, to be who you are and get traffic and clients and finally but not last FRIENDS. Because of Twitter I’ve managed to talk to you Michael and benefit from what you know. I’ve managed to talk with Gary Vaynerchuk who answers all my e-mails and all my DM (and I’m sure he gets a lot). I’ve talked to Chris Brogan or Jim Connolly and many others. It’s a fantastic tool so if you don’t use it GO CREATE AN ACCOUNT NOW !

Congratulations and I’ll see you all on Twitter.

It’s funny how many bloggers publish blogs that are made of paper.

At some stage, I’ll have to get onto Twitter.

For the moment, I personally have been prioritizing my online time on blogging, commenting on other blogs and participating in other discussion forums, but it seems everyone is using Twitter these days, so I guess I’ll just have to catch up at some stage.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I’ve been reading it in depth and it really is chock full of good advice. It’s the most definitive thing I’ve read about Twitter.
