I was reading this last night when it hit me: I didn’t really understand how to target an audience with a need in copywriting as well as I thought. Not that I thought I was “all that” but when I read that article I felt like total beginner all over again. It was humbling and powerful. Instead of kicking myself, I came away feeling invigorated and light.Â
I had experienced a big DUH moment. Listen to the audio, and you’ll understand what I mean. I had a great little chat with Sonia Simone about it on Twitter.
We all experience moments of frustration in blogging, where we feel like we can’t break through and we’ve heard the same trite advice over and over. That’s what this audio is really about.

I’ve recently written an article and recorded a video called “stick to your plan” which is on my main blog page where
I said something similar about sticking to your plan, get focused and think that everybody, no matter how big he is now, had his bad moments. Thank you for confirming that.
I have DUH moments pretty often : all the time I visit the blog of someone that gets lots of traffic and see how even the simplest article gets a dozen comments. I, on the other hand, have to work really hard to get few comments. I’m glad thou because there was a time when nobody even visited my blog. Now I’m getting few comments also which is nice.

attention to it instead of resisting it.

@Grant – yes, we keep hearing the same things over and over, and that information doesn’t change. What changes is our own understanding, so that the “same old” information suddenly hits us like a truck.
@Toma – We all have our moments, no matter how long we’ve been in the game or what level of success we’ve achieved. It’s a good reminder of our own humanity. I’m glad to hear your numbers are rising. That’s a great feeling.

@MaryAnne – This is true: if something keeps appearing in your life, it’s because you have a lesson to learn, and until you deal with it, it will keep coming back like the Terminator.
Blogging can be a little frustrating at times, but very useful in letting people know who you are and what you do.
