Above is a screenshot I just took of the first page of Google search results for my keywords. My ranking is even higher now than it was just a few weeks ago (click to enlarge).
Below is the overall search volume for the same keyword (click to enlarge). Note the rising trend:
How have I done this? SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization. It’s the process of designing, writing, and managing your website (and offsite factors) so that it appears as high as possible in search results for terms associated with your business (called keywords). I’m not responsible for the rising trend, just for getting good rankings!
Blog SEO is something I write about here from time to time, but recently I have been selling a book called SEO School, written by Naomi Dunford, a friend of mine with a small business marketing blog.
SEO School teaches you in plain, potty-mouthed English how to go about doing SEO. All mysteries are revealed after a few choice swearwords (it’s her style, which I love) in a way anyone can understand. Much of what is in this book is what I’ve done to get good search rankings.
When you buy the book ($39), she offers you free support for life. That’s why she’s taking it off the market. She has to, because she’s reaching the limit of the number of people she can support.
August 8th is the last day you can get SEO School. I don’t think you’re going to find anything that’s easier (or more entertaining) to read on SEO than this, so get it now before it’s too late.

One small correction–the price is $39 even.
Thanks, Hunter. It’s now been fixed.
