Apparently, ninjas don’t scale very well. My good friend Naomi Dunford has written one of the most kick-ass and easy-to-read books on learning search engine optimization ever: SEO School – Become an SEO Ninja. I don’t think she could’ve anticipated how well it would sell. SEO is important–vital, even, yet 99% of us don’t know enough about it. I feel like I’m about to go off on a spectacular tangent, so let me get back to my point (yes, I have one).
Like I said, ninjas don’t scale. Naomi promised anyone who bought the book that she would provide support. When I first read that, I thought she was nuts. OK, I thought she was nuts way before that, but now it was confirmed. Because the sales have been so good, she’s reaching the limits of the support she can provide.
She told me she can’t sustain this, so the only sane thing to do is pull the plug on the book (see? maybe she’s not nuts). You have until August 8th to get yours, and then she’s yanking it off the virtual shelf. After August 8th, it will no longer be available.
So, my SEO-challenged friends, if you have been sitting on the fence about learning effective SEO, or if you thought you needed a few more pennies in your jar (it’s only $39.99), your grace period is over. The SEO ninjas (and free lifetime support from Naomi) are slipping away quietly into the night…
