"The speed of trust," there is nothing more important in real estate, and Cyndee Haydon once again hit this pitch perfectly right out of the park. There simply has never been a better medium for letting great customers find great Agents. Thanks Cyndee, good move Mike, I'm glad I found this post over here at Remarkablogger.
That's great, Christine! I hope it helps!

Just thinking out loud here, but if there are two industries that are on the brink of total transformation, it is real estate and travel. Many pundits have been predicting the death of travel agencies (and in some cases, real estate agents, but I think that's going too far). But a travel agent who is also a free agent and has a blog would probably stay in business while others lose their jobs and their agencies collapse. I see a lot of parallels between travel and real estate.

This is awesome - I have a real estate client that is just now realizing the potential of blogging really needs some direction. I'll definitely be sending them this post.

Wow, my blog is being invaded by real estate agents! This is really cool! :D

If you take a broad look at what Cyndee is doing, you can apply this to any market:

She did her research concerning online trends in real estate and saw a need. Specifically, the need for home buyers who begin their search online to connect with an agent. A blog is the perfect tool for conveying competency and information while at the same time showing your humanity and warmth unlike a corporate site. Not only that, but blogs often have better search rankings, and that puts her blog in front of more people when she knows that most people go with the first agent they come across online.

Basically, if you really understand your market and you blog to meet the needs of your clients rather than yourself, you've got a winning business blog.

The whole blogging concept has not reached many yet.....but that's good for us. The fact that we can show our "competency and character" is truly amazing. The fact that our customers can meet us and know us before even talking to us is even better.

Cyndee, can you look back now and wonder how we were not blogging? We, as blogging real estate agents are ahead of the game and can show our value....it doesn't get any better than that!
