Blogs Chosen for Free Quick Blog Reviews

Late last month I ran a little promotion for free quick blog reviews going to five people who submitted their their blog URLs. I said I would choose five blogs from the entries based on whether they would be good examples for me to display my insights and skill as a blog consultant.

So, here are the five I will review starting next week:

  1. Caroline Middlebrook: Livin’ Online
  2. DCS Media
  3. UnTECHy
  4. Marco Richter
  5. Theme Playground

If you didn’t get chosen, don’t feel bad. I’ll do this again in the future and you’re welcome to apply again. Besides, I’m going to be quite frank with the reviews, and while my goal is genuinely to help you, and I’m certainly not going to be a jerk, those chosen may not exactly be thrilled to hear my thoughts! You might consider yourself lucky you didn’t get picked.

Don’t worry, folks — it won’t be that bad. I promise! Thank you all for allowing yourselves to do this: it isn’t always easy to open up to another person’s ideas. I look forward to doing these; I think it will be instructive and positive for everyone. :D

I’m really enjoying your blog Michael! I meant to comment yesterday but followed the link here to Caroline’s blog and had a lot of fun poking around there. I think that’s the sign of a great blog – one that offers a launching point for new adventures!

I’m looking forward to reading these blog reviews ~

    Christine

Thanks, Christine. Yeah, the internet’s like that, isn’t it? It’s difficult to be linear online! :D

I say bring it on. :)

The only way I’ll ever be able to make unTECHy.com what I want it to be is by constructive criticism. If you ask me to rate it, I’d only give it about a 3/10 and it’s MY site.

So as much as you want to pick it apart, I openly welcome. Anyone else who would want to critique my site, please feel free to do so.

And thank you Mr Martine for this once-in-a-lifetime chance.

    Sincerely,

    Keith Hicks,
