Free Quick Blog Reviews

In order to give a taste of how valuable it can be to have a blog consultant, I’m running a little promotion: submit your blog’s URL to me in the comments of this post and I will choose 5 of them for a quick review.

Guidelines

  1. No automated or scraper blogs
  2. No blogs about pornographic or illegal activities
  3. No hate speech
  4. Deadline is this Tuesday, Oct. 2, at midnight Est. time.
  5. Submit the URL of the home page of your blog in the URL field of the comments
  6. Put the name of your blog in the comments name field
  7. Describe your blog in the comments, if you like, and if there’s something particular about your blog you want reviewed

How the Blogs will be Chosen

I’m not going to choose the 5 blogs randomly. I’m going to choose blogs that will make for the best examples where a review by a blog consultant can point out improvements. This is not a contest, and the blogs that are chosen will not be deemed “better” or “worse” than anyone else’s blog. After the deadline, I’m going to turn off comments for this post. Blogs that are chosen will be notified by email and announced here in a post.

What Do You Get Out of This?

If you are chosen, you get a free short review of your blog and a nice big no-follow link. Even if you’re not chosen, any blogs listed in the comments that meet the guidelines will have no-follow links.

How I will Post the Reviews

Each review will be its own post, so there will be 5 review posts. It will include a screenshot or two and a few points that could be improved on the blog. Improvements may relate to design, SEO, and the writing for the blog. I’ll post one review each day thereafter, excluding Sunday. I suggest you subscribe to my RSS feed so you don’t miss the next blog review.

I’m really looking forward to this! I can’t wait to see all the blogs that are entered. So… start submitting!

Michael, I would be proud to get reviewed by you. I had a blog before, but I had to start over in August.

That sounds like a nice offer :) The name of my blog is just my name though it’s not exactly a personal blog, it’s about Internet marketing. Specifically I recently gave up my 9-5 day job so that I could start a full time business in IM and software development so my blog is a kind of record of that journey. This has been my first week full time, it’s been great fun so far!

Blog has served me well in the past and I’m pleased with recent improvements, but I know there’s a serious lack of focus whilst I’m kind of attached to the random eclecticism. So that’s where I feel an external appraisal may be just what’s required. Any hints as to the most fortuitous direction to take would be greatly appreciated.

Hey. I’m new to blogging, but I’ve always been open to suggestions.

    Would appreciate a review.

    Hi there,

I’m creating a new kind of blog, a concept I’ve never seen before on any site! I’ll tell you more about it if you contact me by my mail, since I don’t want to speak to much about it in the public yet. This project will be launched next week, and I think people will really like it!

I just started http://www.myzury.com a few weeks ago. I hope that your review will help make my blog more known. Wheather the review is good or bad does not matter, what counts is that it will generate traffic and that I learn something from the review.
