My home page PageRank of 6 is safe for now! ;) The reason I'm in 45n5's sandbox is because even though my Technorati authority is over 7,000, it's something of a fluke. These backlinks are from the link to me at the bottom of the <a href="http://remarkablogger.com/free-wordpress-themes/">free WordPress themes</a> I've created, and not because 7,000 people thought I was so great that they just had to link to me. Two of my themes are available on Wordpress.com, so that generates a <strong>ton</strong> of backlinks for me. So depending on how you search T'rati, I'm in the top 100 or I'm not. I'm not in the top 100 blog for all factors, but I am in the top 100 based on pure authority (the number of backlinks to my blog in the past 6 months). I think T'rati probably looks at my daily traffic and other factors that (deservedly) do not allow me into the overall top 100. I don't even really portray my blog as a make money online blog, even though I certainly do <a href="http://www.remarkablogger.com/2007/07/23/the-story-of-how-i-made-money-blogging-but-jumped-the-shark/">make money online</a> by blogging. It's much more general and <a href="http://www.remarkablogger.com/categories/7-keys-to-better-blogging/key-5-blog-monetization/">blog monetization</a> is only one part of it.
