I’m very pleased to have been asked by the good folks at Cloud Alliance to redesign their website and they like the idea of including a blog. Cloud Alliance is a partnership of various people and companies in Vermont bringing wireless broadband to rural areas that need it. Bringing wireless broadband to the beautiful dial-up Vermont countryside will bring many economic opportunities to those areas. People will now be able to experience real productivity as telecommuters. Companies will be able to explore their potential better through internet technology. Providing people with opportunity to tap into their own human potential is the kind of story that really inspires me.
By having a blog, Cloud Alliance will have a higher exposure for issues regarding access to broadband and how it’s implemented. People in general and potential customers will specifically have a chance to see that the folks of Cloud Alliance are experts who understand rural technology issues. People will have a chance to see what kind of customer service attitude the folks at Cloud Alliance have before wireless broadband comes to their area. Journalists will have an information-rich resource for news about this important rural issue.
And as far as I know, they will be the only ISP in Vermont with their own blog to keep communications direct and authentic, and to keep themselves close to the people that are the most important: their customers.
